The Story

I was always gifted with creativity, but pursued other things for the past 15 years. Recently I have become inspired to create again. When I was in middle and high school I thoroughly enjoyed painting. I took a lot of classes and won a few awards. In college, I put art aside to pursue my degree in animal science and my doctorate in veterinary medicine. The animal field is great but during COVID I wondered why I didn’t have a hobby? My excuse was always that I did not have time. Well, this is my year of pursuing dreams. It has taken me about 6 months to get back into the creative mindset. One may ask why I don’t just draw dogs and cats? I do enjoy seeing them everyday but this is my way of getting out of my normal routine. I do have to admit that my dogs are great painting buddies though.
